Hobbies: Running, hanging out with her husband, Clay, playing with her cats CoCo and Bean, the outdoors, and home remodeling

Occupation: Wrestler, College Student, Home Depot employee

Wrestling Beginnings: Roberts began wrestling in 1995 at Sacajawea Junior High. She was the only girl on the team but her passion for the sport took hold after the first day of practice. She continued wrestling thru high school at Federal Way High School in Federal Way, Washington. After high school, Roberts pursued her academics and wrestling career at University of Minnesota, Morris, the first college in the nation to offer women's wrestling. She went to school and wrestled there till 2001. Roberts decided that she wanted to be closer to home so decided to make the move from UMM to Pacific University in Oregon after she found out that they were offering Women's wrestling at the club level. After one year in attendance at Pacific University in Oregon, Roberts took 5th at the National tournament in 2002. With the result of 5th and the new women's residency program beginning started at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Roberts was offered a conditional stay in the new program. After getting serious about her work ethic, nutrition and weight management, Roberts emerged from the 2003 National Championships a Champion. She made her first World Team and represented the United States at the world Championships at Madison Square Gardens in New York where she emerged with her first world bronze medal. With hard work and dedication she was able to earn another national title and world team spot on her second bronze medal at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungry in 2005.
